violent game's don't make children violent but..

No violent game's don't make kids more violent, but could games that negatively portray non-whites in games make gamers (especially ones that grow up from a young age playing game) believe in the negative stereo types or even make them a little bit racist????

Is it possible that many of the biggest games with the easiest example being the GTA series is dangerously planting a seed in children's and teenagers brains that the negative portrayals of non-whites is normalized there for desensitizing them to the negative stereotypes that most games potray.

I mean is it bad to suggest that in most games the hero is a white guy, this means only white people can be saviours of the world, this could mean that if you continually play games over many years and at a young age its very possible that you may start believing in this nonsense.

Videogames can be seen to be in a backwards era in terms of non-white representation as well as negative stereo types similar to how movies were made in the 50's and 60's especially western genre movies. But it seems the movie industry has moved on significantly and it seems strange that in 2012 that highest selling form of media is still stuck in the 50's and 60's way of thinking.
