Reply to Sam G on Censorship
I can understand where you are coming from Sam. When you say that almost all games would end up with at least an m15+, I agree. I don't think this would be such an awful thing though. I know that many people get into rather heated arguments about overprotecting children and the impact of games on them. I believe it truly depends on the individual. we have to be careful to not do what was said in the lecture though, that it is ok for me and people like me to play those games but not for others. We know what we can handle and cant handle. If we leave it to the parents to decide and the child ends up being 'affected' by it, I think it is not about bad parenting but about whether we can really know whether something is going to be bad or fine for someone else to handle. We don't know how other people will react, but at the same time they shouldn't be protected from everything. I also say 'affected' as i believe that people cannot be affected by games alone. Long Story short, I don't think having most games at a higher censorship rating would bother me.
