Rodney here, looking forward to the course. Wishing everyone the best-should be a lot of fun and very interesting. As very much an outsider to the 'gaming industry' there is a lot to learn however, I do know that we have come a long way since Pacman and the other classics. One of my friends sons bought a war game just recently and told me that not only did it cost over $120.00 but the sales of this edition has beaten all DVD movie sales throughout 2011! This probably does not surprise some of you, but it is amazing to see the change in focus. When I was younger we used to save for some sort of sporting equipment or something to ride either bicycle, motorbike or car, but now it seems it is more important to have a flash cell/smart phone, computer or ipad etc along with the most popular games and other applications.
