I disagree with your statement about how it is harder for Digital Immigrants to keep up because of the rapid changes in your second paragraph. I feel instead of blaming it on the rapid changes in technology, more focus should be put on the willingness of so-called Immigrants who supposedly cannot keep up. The changes that happen in a type of technology (eg the changes between Iphone1 and Iphone2) does not make such a big a gap that it requires you to totally ignore what you've learnt previously.
