Watching the trailer….definitely racist

The ‘affect’ I had when I watched that trailer was something. It seemed wrong to me that this white ruthless killer was cleaning out a whole village of black zombies. I realize they are zombies and not humans but the fact that they were all native blacks really disturbed me. It just felt wrong, its hard to explain but inside me it felt wrong. I realize ‘T Kanji’ comment about would it be racist if there was a black person killing only white zombies, and to be brutally honest it might be weird but I probably wouldn’t care, am I a racist now? But how many movies or games are there where a black guy is killing only white characters, there’s definitely enough examples in both film and games where non-white are portrayed in this kinda  ‘us and them’ concept, always portrayed in a negative and evil manner. I can agree that the producers didn’t purposely intend to make this trailer seem as racist as it looks, so perhaps you could call it thoughtless racism. It’s just too much of a sensitive issue, where you have countries like South Africa and Zimbabwe where blacks were oppressed by whites for years and years. The trailer is simply appalling.
